Hey Team!

 

Can you believe that we are approaching the end of the school year? I sure can’t believe that we are only a few weeks away from the end! Earlier this week I was looking back at pictures from the Spring 2020 semester and thought back to all the moments we thought “everything will be back to normal in a few weeks” or “by Summer we should be able to meet in-person” and then “surely by Fall school will be back open”. Can’t believe it’s been over a year of this strange year! 

 

Despite the unique circumstances (a global pandemic, Richland campus being closed, masks) I am so thankful that God has been so sweet not only to me but to our student body! Each of our cores were filled with people, new friendships were built, lots of one on one Bible studies happened, Pandemic Praise (our Thursday Night Thunder) worship band was formed! As a staff we had more time to dedicate to the students that were faithfully coming to Richland FOCUS. Don’t get me wrong, I AM SO READY FOR CAMPUS TO BE OPEN but despite the circumstances this year turned out to feel pretty normal.

 

I’m so thankful to each of our students that have remained dedicated to being part of the Richland body! They have made this year so fun! I seriously couldn’t have remained joyful and thankful if it wasn’t for them. I’m also very thankful for YOU my supporters for faithfully giving throughout the years and for praying for our me and for our students. 

 

I ask that you continue to pray. Next Fall, Richland FOCUS will have kind of a re-start year for our ministry. With many students transferring out this Summer we will be losing a good amount of our student body. Pray for God to build and bring us student leaders! I’m also excited to be adding three new staff members to our team. They are going to be so much help this next school year.
