That’s a wrap!

My time as an apprentice has come to an end, it’s crazy how quickly the past ten months have flown by. I have learned so much this year about campus ministry, people, and most importantly Jesus. Thank you so much your prayers and your partnership in the Gospel this school year, it’s been a great blessing. Although the school year has come to a close, our ministry and students are not giving up meeting and learning together this summer. Please be in prayer for our Summer Focus meetings that will be happening every Thursday night this summer break. This time of year is so fun because all of our Focus ministries come together and get to form friendships across campuses! Here are some cool things that happened this past month.

This past month we flew over 70 students to Washington and it was such a blast! At SICM (Student Institute of Campus Ministry) they learned about Jesus style of mentoring, leading small groups, and so much more. It was such an impactful week for our students and I’m so glad they get to take all the ministry tools they learned back to their college campuses!

Now that the apprenticeship is over I will be transitioning into full-time senior staff, this summer I will be spending most of my time fundraising my salary. I know that God is calling me into campus ministry and He was so faithful this last year in raising my support and I believe He will be again this next year.

Earlier this month, Melissa, whom I got to meet with every week this past year, graduated from UTD! Yay!
