Hi Team!

Spooky Season is upon us! I have been enjoying this much cooler weather these past few days and hope you have been as well!

Here are some of the sweet things that have been going at Richland and now Brookhaven!

We did a Speed Friending event at Thursday Night Thunder. Each chair had a purposeful question for the students to ask one another. At the night students got the chance to learn one thing from everyone in the group. This is always a hit with our students!

This semester we are planting a ministry at Brookhaven College (which is under the Dallas College umbrella). Planting a ministry is challenging and can get very discouraging at times. Connor and I will spend weekly time meetings students, inviting them into community, and getting to know the campus in general. Last week we played games in the cafe and had about 8 students come and connect with us! We will be having more events like this to meet students and start a small group there. Please join us in praying for this ministry plant. Brookhaven, is kind of a dead campus - there is zero campus life. Students don't really hangout on campus and those that do want to stay connected to their phones. Pray for God to open doors here!

We had Fall Camp two weekends ago and here is a picture of some of our crew! Fall Camp is a whole 24hrs (including sleeping time) but definitely one of the most memorable events for our students and staff! This camp is built in so students will develop spiritual friendships with one another. We create times for students to spend time together one on one, to play games and connect, to worship and share communion together. It's short but very sweet!

This is Churro, I adopted him in August and he is seriously the sweetest pup ever! Here he is dressed as a pirate for Pawtober Fest in Richardson. He doesn't like other dogs but loves all humans.

Our student testimony this month is from one of our student leaders Bryan! We love him!

As always, please let me know how I can be praying for you! Thank You!

Your campus missionary,
Sandra Salvador
